President & CEO

Dan S. Rogers is the President & Chief Executive Officer for Goodwill Industries of Orange County. The nonprofit organization provides education, training, and employment services to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment in order to enter the workforce, upgrade their job skills, or improve their quality of life.

Rogers' career spans over four decades of visionary leadership and philanthropic experience. He is highly recognized in Orange County, both in the private sector and by nonprofit organizations, for his business acumen and fund development skills, and for his expertise in strategic planning and program management.

Prior to joining Goodwill, Rogers served as a consultant to Ford Motor Land Services, Inc. where he was responsible for the disposition of Ford's major Western holdings. He facilitated growth at previous organizations such as The Grainger Company and Lee & Associates, commercial real estate service companies, and the World Football League. And of special note, he was the first head basketball coach at University of California, Irvine. Rogers also served as a member and Chairman of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County Board of Directors.

Rogers' extensive philanthropic involvement has also been manifested in a professional role as the executive director for the Newport Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce. His service as a volunteer has included many other community-based organizations, such as Save Our Youth (SOY), a Costa Mesa after school program, the Boys & Girls Club of Irvine, and Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Newport Beach.

Rogers, a long-time resident of Orange County, lives in Costa Mesa with his wife Sheila. They have four grown children who also reside in Orange County.
