GOODWILL OF ORANGE COUNTY CELEBRATES RE-OPENING OF CAMPUS STORE WITH A GRAND CELEBRATION

(February 22, 2008- Santa Ana, CA) On Friday, February 15, 2008 Goodwill of Orange County celebrated the re-opening of its Fairview Goodwill Store on 412 N. Fairview in Santa Ana. The event was marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony where a number of Santa Ana city officials, regional ambassadors and business leaders were on hand to help celebrate the occasion.

For the past several months, the organization’s flagship retail store underwent major renovations and improvements to better showcase the quality merchandise found throughout the store. “While Goodwill stores are widely known as terrific places to buy, this represents our largest store ever at 25,000 square feet to offer a wide variety of outstanding values, that focus on items such as apparel and computer hardware, and software,” said Anne Martin, Vice President, Operations and Sales for Goodwill Orange County.

Goodwill of Orange County, now in its 84th year, has provided thousands of people with disabilities and other barriers the opportunity to achieve their highest levels of personal and economic independence through competitive employment. The nonprofit organization’s programs assist individuals with work and social abilities, cultural and language skills and to help them succeed at home, at school and in the workplace.
