Artist, designer, and event planner Anais Catalina is the definition of a boss queen. Managing five businesses, Anais juggles several hats in a single day. Coordinating fairy-tale weddings, designing beautiful sets, building events from the ground up, and creating content for her social media channels, there’s nothing she can’t do. Anais loves to build out her events with thrifted pieces that she finds at #OCGoodwill stores. From vintage shops to thrift stores, Greg is always on the hunt for secondhand, hidden gems. He enjoys creating content that showcases affordable outfits that look like a million bucks and inspires his viewers to do the same. In fact, Greg’s favorite thrifted item is a Tommy Hilfiger blazer with a crest and a metal chain, a budget-friendly find that makes him feel like a king! RARE by Goodwill in Anaheim is Greg’s go-to OC Goodwill store as it is curated with items that fit his vibe and is filled with unique treasures. One thrifting tip for new thrifters is to build your wardrobe with essentials and basics. A lover of all things horror, Halloween, and pop culture, Sydney is an alternative icon. Every day is Halloween for Sydney as she creates spooky costumes all year round. By shopping secondhand, not only is she able to reduce the impact on local landfills, but she’s also able to curate an affordable alt outfit that’s perfect for any occasion! Catch her at a punk concert with some OC Goodwill thrifted Doc Martens. As someone who has worked in the special education industry, helping individuals grow and reach their highest potential is one of Sydney’s many passions. Being an OC Goodwill Insider allows her to unite her passions of content creation and helping those in the community. Whether she’s counseling students to become independent citizens or she's saving the environment by shopping secondhand at the OC Goodwill Garden Grove store, Vanessa has a passion for helping her community. She is a proud thrifter who enjoys creating content around sustainable fashion and thrift finds. One tip she has for new thrifters is to keep an open mind and open availability since thrifting can be very time consuming, but it’s totally worth it in the end.
